of your master is preserved bit-for-bit outside the edits. In a real 2:24 single, the only samples that changed were its four cuts and their soft reverb tails, 2.97% of the song. Null-test it yourself.
Questions
Do I need to send stems?
No. Send the finished song. Goldmute separates the vocal itself and only edits that layer.
Which words come out?
Strong profanity and slurs. Mild words like damn and hell are found too, and you can switch them on in the editor. You can also add, move or drop any cut.
What if a cut sounds off?
Open the editor, play the section, move the edges until it sounds right, and render again. Re-renders are free.
Will it change my mix?
Only inside each cut, and only the vocal. Everywhere else the file is bit-for-bit identical to your master. With the reverb tail on, about half a second after each cut carries its soft tail.
Who owns the files?
You do. Upload only songs you have the rights to. Songs are deleted 7 days after upload, unless you choose to share them to help train the engine.
